Fury Eyes

"Fury Eyes" is a song recorded by English band The Creatures (aka singer Siouxsie Sioux and drummer Budgie). The song was co-produced by Mike Hedges. It was remixed by Pascal Gabriel for release as the second single of the critically acclaimed ''Boomerang'' album.〔Morton, Roger. "Peek-A-Boom" (review ). ''NME''. 11 November 1989. "A rich and unsettling landscape of exotica"〕
The song was inspired by the 1989 novel ''In the Eyes of Mr. Fury'' by Philip Ridley.〔Peter Buckley (2003). ''(The Rough Guide to Rock )''. Rough Guides. ISBN 1858284570. Pages 247.〕
The single was released prior to the first-ever European tour by the duo.
The cover and artwork were created by Anton Corbijn and Area. The photo sessions took place in Andalucia, Spain in May 1989. It was the first time Corbijn chose to portray artists in color; his previous works were only in black and white.
